A Perfect Sunday Movie: Matilda

I could watch Matilda over and over again and still not get bored of the kids classic. Based on Roald Dahl’s novel of the same name the film was released in 1996 and was directed by . The film stars , , ,  and . It’s definitely the perfect Sunday afternoon family film.

GEEK FACT: Sadly,  mom, Suzie Wilson died of breast cancer during filming. In spite of this Mara pressed on and the film was dedicated to her mom.

Music Vs Movies: Pharrell Is ‘Happy’

Back in November Pharrell Williams released the world’s first 24 hour music video. His team filmed over 400 dancing extras with a steadicam across eight miles of Los Angeles over the course of eleven days. Check out the behind the scenes video below if you didn’t get the chance to watch the entire video.

‘Happy’ has been nominated for best original song at this years Oscars and we all know it’s going to win! Despicable Me 2 which is out now so if you haven’t already seen it, I’d put that on your to do list.
